When should my child have an eye exam?

Up to 1 in 4 Australian children have an undiagnosed vision problem. This means that many children are needlessly struggling with eye conditions that can be easily detected and treated by an optometrist experienced in paediatric optometry or behavioural optometry.

Children can suffer from a wide range of eye conditions and still not know that how they see is not normal! These conditions include: myopia, hyperopia, amblyopia, lazy eye, strabismus and binocular vision disorders.

Up to 80% of what your child learns in their early school years depends on their vision. It is no wonder why an eye exam is so important for your child to reach their full academic potential.

Here are some eye care tips for your child. If you still have booked an eye test, why delay? Contact us now!
